Now accepting creative submissions for our online literature and art gallery! There’s no specific theme, we are just looking for any mixed forms of art, photography, poetry, prose, and…well basically any form of creative writing. If you make the cut, your work will be featured on our website for the entire month of Decemeber.

In your email, write your full name, mini bio, along with your work and any social media links you’d want us to share with the world. The deadline is Nov. 30th!

Our lovely Co-editor & Chief Helen is organizing a new zine for the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC), and is now accepting submissions for the 2019 edition! Any poetry work, art, photography, short stories and/or literature involving topics related to social justice, law, or environmental advocacy will be considered. The deadline is Nov. 16th so please spread the word & consider submitting some radical expressions and/or concerns!

“The Conference is organized solely by the volunteers of Land Air Water (LAW), a student environmental law society at the University of Oregon School of Law, and is co-sponsored by Friends of Land Air Water (FLAW), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The four-day Conference in Eugene, Oregon, includes over 125 panels, workshops, and multi-media presentations addressing a broad spectrum of environmental law and advocacy.

Topics include: forest protection and ecological restoration, grazing and mining reform, labor and human rights, air and water pollution, Native American treaty rights, globalization and β€œfree” trade, environmental justice, corporate responsibility, marine wilderness, international environmental law, water rights and dam removal, oil and gas litigation, genetic engineering, and urban growth.”
