My work, my writing, has been interrupted, or better yet, shaped by the 2020 Elections, continuing police brutality and the divide in Los Angeles and Pomona. We are all locked up, or supposed to be locked up because of this pandemic. I could not participate in any of the protests or political activity during the November elections. For me, participation, is mortal.

Yet, cops killing, murdering us, pissed me off. I am personally affected by it. I took my frustrations out……. in my writing and drawing. I wanted to see more people that looked like me. Yet, I cannot draw. I allowed my spirit to draw what I could to express how I feel.
